I apologize in advance if I do not get around to following through with this. Time n the road is scarce.
This blog is for my 2014 road trip with my 13-year old German shepherd, Erde. Leben, her brother, had to be put down just before the trip was to begin with him.

Stormy
Storm came into my life when he was eight weeks old.
From that day on we were together 24-7 for twelve wonderful years.
We put many miles on our RV traveling to Hood River Oregon and Washington
DC from our home in Florida. Storm loved to windsurf and to play with
other dogs. He was also a registered Therapy Dog. We spent many fun
and rewarding hours visiting nursing homes and children's libraries. Long walks
and trips to the doggie park led to many friendships for both of us.These
friends will always hold a special place in my heart.
Two years ago Storm developed oral melanoma cancer. I
did my best to give him good medical care hoping he would enjoy a longer life.
On July 13,2014 Storm lost his battle with cancer and died peacefully in
my arms. My heart is broken but I try to focus on the good memories and
hope the tears will become smiles someday.

Daisy
Kathleen and Richard wrote,
Our little dog "Daisy" was our friend, watchdog, and pure joy for almost 12 years. She was also a rescue dog. There are so many of these dogs looking for a home. Some time after "Daisy" died we rescued another dog, "Addi", who gives us so much. This was the only way I could dismiss the grief of our loss.....
Osher
Osher, which means Happiness in Hebrew, was the beloved companion of IIonachka Niki. Words are not needed to describe this guy's personality, as the photos say it all.
IIonachka wrote: "Thank you for the happiness you gave us and you will always be in our hearts."
